Camera Lowering Systems - Lowering Systems for Communications DevicesCamera Lowering Systems' experience in lowering devices dates back to 1967. Their engineering and marketing know-how has been a major force in the industry, dating back to the pioneering efforts in the development of the first raising and lowering high mast system in the United States. Based on a proven design, we offer the world's best lowering system with three major features - safety, simplicity and value. GROUND LEVEL SERVICING - EASY MAINTENANCEAll servicing is done at ground level. Hazardous, expensive and time-consuming high-lift maintenance trucks and lane closures are eliminated. The efficiency of the higher mounting heights need not present a problem in servicing the equipment. Other mounting applications include wall, tower and indoor ceiling mounts. Camera Lowering Systems (CLS) provides fast, safe, and easy means of maintenance for all your needs. Cameras can now be mounted up to 50m in height. PATENTED CAMERA LOWERING SYSTEMSCLS' devices are designed to safely raise and lower the camera assembly with over 1,000 cycles without failure of any component or degradation of gold plated pins and sockets The quality of our contacts assures that you will get the best video signal and camera control. Eight different alignment points assure perfect alignment of the contacts. The wiring integrity of the overall system is maintained by providing a shielded coax cable and grounded twisted pairs to meet or exceed the capacitance and attenuation required for the camera. Upper and lower connectors have a spring-assisted design to minimize environmental vibrations, provide continuous resistant forces to maintain connector closure, and help in the ejecting of connector halves during the unlocking sequence. STEEL LOWERING DEVICE SYSTEMSCLS uses steel poles for its camera lowering systems. When compared to concrete poles, steel poles are less expensive and easier to install. They also weigh less and are easier to transport. Concrete poles are very expensive to ship and in some areas, they are impossible to deliver. Concrete poles are also embedded into the ground, which allows for ground movement, and they will not stand plum. This is a major concern for our lowering device systems, which need to be mounted level. Concrete poles are harder to drill into, making attachments more costly and harder to install. For our lowering device applications, steel poles continue to be the most popular choice, for obvious reasons. A LEADING MANUFACTURER OF RAISING AND LOWERING DEVICESWith both the security and transportation fields booming right now, we are seeing a greater demand for our product. Cameras are being mounted higher and higher and are being used in more and more applications. CLS has become the leading manufacturer in raising and lowering devices. Our systems can be found on highways across the United States and Canada. Our lowering devices are being mounted on towers, steel and concrete poles, and being retrofitted to existing poles and other structures. CLS has also been involved in the security of the railway system and shipping ports. We are constantly improving our product and looking for new ways to implement our current product.
