REG™ is designed to work on a stand-alone basis, with VCRs, digital recorders or with specialist Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) software. Derwent, with their Canadian sister company Extreme CCTV, have been involved in leading ANPR installations worldwide, including Central London's Congestion Charging scheme and a recent citywide ANPR traffic monitoring project in Stockholm, Sweden.

REG™ ANPR NUMBER PLATE CAPTURE CAMERAS

Derwent have mastered the art and science of capturing number plates. REG™ combines high-resolution camera, lens, high speed optics and Derwent's patented infrared illumination in a rugged, weatherproof housing to create the complete solution that captures the plate all the time, every time.

REG™ is supplied with a PSU and integrated cable and bracketry to ensure ease of installation and immediate results. Low maintenance costs are assured with both long life halogen and LED options. REG™ delivers an average illuminator life of up to ten years, dependent on viewing distance.

REG™ can be relied upon to capture number plates during the day and in total darkness at night, from cars moving at speed and at distances of up to 50m. REG™ also overcomes all issues relating to vehicle headlights, number plate reflectivity, daytime highlights and accurate focus. REG™ Dual and REG™ Dual LED. Twin, mono and colour cameras. The mono camera captures number plates 24hs a day, seven days a week, whilst the colour camera captures the overview scene. A solid state LED version of the camera is also available.
