Sky High has appointed transport survey expert Jon McGivern to manage the company's latest office in Cardiff. The office will serve clients in Wales and south west England.
Mr McGivern joins the traffic survey and analysis specialist as it celebrates its 20th anniversary and opens its second new office of 2009.
Sky High’s Cardiff office, which is within walking distance of the Millennium Stadium, offers all types of manual and automatic video traffic surveys. The new site will be supported by the company's central support teams, which provide quality management, health and safety and technical and analytical resource.
Sky High managing director Mark Mattison said: "Jon joins Sky High at a pivotal point in its development. The company has grown significantly over the past two years, in both the scale of the projects it delivers and its presence in the UK. Jon will have a significant involvement in managing the growth within the company and will take responsibility for managing the new Wales and south west England site."
Mr McGivern joins Sky High as regional manager for Wales and the south west of England following more than 15 years in the transport survey sector, working on both a consultancy and employed basis.
He said: "I'm delighted to join Sky High. I'm keen to combine my experience of large contracts with the client-focused culture at Sky High." Mr McGivern has worked on large projects for clients such as Mott MacDonald and Cardiff Council.
Sky High, which has UK offices in Maidstone, Halifax, Tadcaster and Edinburgh, also has overseas operations in Australia and recently completed a new office launch in Luton to service the growing demand for its services in south east England.
