Sky High regional offices have secured a raft of major contracts in the first half of 2009.
Under a five-year contract, with a five-year optional extension covering all three authorities, Sky High head office will be delivering automatic traffic-counter survey services to the Greater Manchester Transportation Unit (serving all 10 district councils in Greater Manchester), Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council. Work has already started on a series of 300 temporary speed surveys at safety camera sites in Greater Manchester.
After winning three contracts with Transport for London the Sky High London office is providing manual surveys and origin-destination video surveys to TfL in addition to the bus fare evasion surveys already being undertaken for London Buses. The Sky High data capture division based in Halifax will be undertaking all survey form inputting for TfL under the third of the three-year contracts.
The new Wales and West Sky High office in Cardiff has recently won the contract with the Wales Casualty Reduction Partnership to undertake around 300 temporary speed surveys at safety camera sites throughout South Wales. Work has already started on these and will continue into 2010 with options to extend the contract for a further three years.
Sky High Scotland and Ireland has recently won a one year contract to undertake temporary speed surveys for Edinburgh City Council in addition to their existing contract with Fife Constabulary.
