A new stand-alone software platform has been launched by Traficon. This Traficon Management System (TMS) will collect and store real-time traffic data, traffic events and alarm image sequences in its database and can easily be integrated into an overall traffic management system. Complete Solution for All Video Detection Projects
The addition of the TMS software to the company’s product range means that Traficon is now able to offer the market a complete solution for all video detection projects. “What this development does is provide the missing link between the video detection system and supervising systems for monitoring traffic,” says General Sales Manager, Ilse Roelants. “The data communication is handled very simply and there is user-friendly interface between Traficon’s detection / communication boards and client applications and the supervising management systems.”
User-Friendly Graphical User Interface
Operators will find the GUI very easy to use. They have access to real-time information together with the ability to generate a wide range of reports, tables and graphs. “Traficon has put a lot of effort into making sure that the graphical user interface is very easy to use,” Roelants adds. “We are particularly pleased with the map image which updates the operator in an intuitive and intelligent way.”
Multi-Language and Secured Software
A lot of attention has been paid to secure the system. The platform operates with authorised users and user groups. Each user has welldefined competences, tasks and level of access. Each user can also select his native language to operate the system. The software will enable Traficon to provide a more complete service to existing users of our detection systems. “We know that our customers were looking for this kind of user-friendly solution,” says Roelants “and we believe that it will be very well received in the market.”
