As Traficon people are really fanatic in what they do, they do not only want to offer the best products, they are even willing to go a step further: a car-free day! The Traficon crew was stimulated to leave their car at home for one day and come to work by foot, by bike or by public transport.
“This first car-free day was a huge success,” Stijn Vandebuerie says, “More than 80% of all Traficon people did manage to find an alternative. Their car had the day off!”
“We know this is just a small step in reducing traffic jams but there is more. As air pollution and smog is getting worse every year, we need to be aware that themes such as ‘global warming’ not only require efforts from governments and businesses, but also a change in the way we live. This car-free day is a perfect beginning,” Mr. Vandebuerie concludes.
Finally, all participants arriving at Traficon were offered a superb breakfast. The ideal place to further discuss this matter and already start thinking of new, brilliant video detection solutions. After all, don’t we always say: mens sana in corpore sano.
