Our systems, installed across the UK and Ireland, extend from the very biggest motorway and A-road information signs down to single stand-alone warning signs in safety-critical areas such as school approach roads and pedestrian precincts.

Signage is based on various cost-effective technologies, including LED, rotating prism, flip dot and fibre-optic. Signs can be controlled via hard-wire, RF and pre-set intervals. All our signage is UK Highways Agency and appropriate regulatory authority type approved.

FIXED AND VARIABLE HIGHWAYS SIGNS

The Glasgow system that encompasses over 550 signs, and is fully integrated into traffic detection and advanced road management systems and displays, is typical of the large wide-area signage projects we have undertaken.

Dambach also boasts an impressive track record in the challenging tunnel environment, including the 600m Jack Lynch Tunnel in Cork, Ireland. The installation, which gives motorists advanced traffic and road information on the surrounding approach roads as well as controlling traffic in the tunnel itself, has over 108 fixed and variable signs employing rotating prisms and light emitting technology.

VARIABLE SPEED AND SAFETY WARNING SIGNS

Dambach has a range of low-cost variable speed and safety warning signs for use in the proximity of schools, children’s play areas and pedestrian zones. Information can be displayed in a locally appropriate form and it can feature text or pictograms to maximise the impact of the warning message.

We supply any requirement, from single stand-alone signs to multi-sign integrated systems based on rotating prisms. We can also provide high-luminance fibre-optic or LED displays.

Activation of variable information is based on a number of criteria from time of day, density and speed of approaching traffic, and even ambient light level. Wind and solar power, together with mobile sign options, are available within the safety range.

Within the safety range Dambach can also offer our highly successful over-height vehicle warning signs, complete with advanced microwave detection as a complete integrated package.
