Jerol - Composite Sign and Signal Poles

Jerol Industri AB is a leading company in composite pole technology. Jerol, which holds a number of patents, has been developing composite signposts and signal posts since 1999 to meet today's requirements for modern poles, including crash safety and long lifetime poles.

Jerol has successfully passed a great number of full-scale crash-tests on signs with our poles as single and multiple legged variants. All our poles are fully calculated according to the European norms.

JEROL SIGN POLES AND SIGNAL POLES – CONFORMING TO SAFETY STANDARDS

We provide Jerol composite sign poles for:

• Static signs
• VMS signs
• Small signs with one pole
• Larger signs with a number of poles

We offer Jerol OPTA, a free optimization computer program, to our customers. Using information such as the wind-load, the slope and the category of terrain, Jerol OPTA can calculate how many and what kind of pole and foundation you will need. It optimizes the sign poles according to the European norm EN-12899.

Jerol's sign poles fulfil the EN 12767:2000 safety standards. The strength of the signposts is calculated according to the European Norm EN-40.

Signal poles are used for traffic signals. Jerol's signal poles are full-scale crash-tested, as well as being fully-approved according to EN 12767:2000.

Jerol's range of signposts and signal poles are:

Jerol's poles consist of a cylindrical inner tube of fibreglass-reinforced polyester, covered with a layer of polyolefin.

The sign poles are available in diameters between 114mm and 273mm, and the poles can be up to 12m long. The outer diameters of the poles are nearly the same as for standard steel pipes and therefore you can use the existing fittings as clamps when assembling the whole sign.

JEROL POLE PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT – ALSO AN OFFER

Along with the development of poles, Jerol has developed a production process. The result is a modern production process capable of producing at least 15 tons of fibreglass every 24 hours. This means Jerol's production process can produce up to 50,000 poles every year, which can give a very competitive cost per pole.
