PORTABLE SOLAR-POWERED DYNAMIC MESSAGE SIGNS

Solar Tech’s SILENT MESSENGER™ portable Variable Message Signs (VMS) are available in three display sizes, with multiple trailer and mounting configurations to fit a wide range of traffic management applications. The display sizes are:

• 126in x 76in ( 320cm x 193cm)
• 92in x 54in (234cm x 137cm)
• 80in x 47.5in (203cm x 121cm).

All SILENT MESSENGER VMS models feature full-matrix / graphic-capable custom LED displays. Our patented Mega-Flux® display incorporates the most advanced LED technology, providing a viewing angle of 60º, effectively making it twice as visible as standard LED displays.

The MegaTech® interactive touch-screen controller, coupled with SolarTech’s proprietary TRAFIX software, makes programming the SILENT MESSENGER simple and intuitive.

Other features include multiple wireless remote-control options and a complete set of I/O connections including Ethernet, USB, RS232. All SILENT MESSENGER variable message sign products are NTCIP-capable and can plug-and-play into ITS networks.

SILENT SENTINEL™ ADVANCED WARNING ARROW PANELS

Solar Technology’s SILENT SENTINEL advance warning arrow panels are built to withstand the most punishing work-zone environments. Designed and built exclusively by SolarTech, our LED lamps were confirmed by independent laboratory tests as the brightest available in the industry.

Our advanced design solid-state control module features microprocessor-based technology and fully automatic fault protection for enhanced reliability. Multi-color LED indicators display battery level, solar charger status and lamp intensity.

SILENT ADVISOR™ RADAR SPEED MONITORS™

Solar Technology recently introduced a line of SILENT ADVISOR radar speed monitors. The RST-1000 features a trailer with one of the smallest operating footprints available (56in x 75in / 143cm x 191cm.). Its lower height and wide viewing angle allow for greater visibility for low-speed applications.

The RST-2000 (75in x 112in / 191cm x 285cm) has a greater operating height for maximum visibility in high-speed applications.

VARIABLE MESSAGE SIGNS

Any of our LED message sign displays may be easily permanently mounted for fixed location applications. The advantage of our fixed-mount signs is the extreme energy-efficiency of the sign: a 126in x 76in (320cm x 193cm) display only uses as much energy as a 100W light bulb.

SPECIALTY SOLAR TRAILERS

Drawing on years of engineering solar systems, SolarTech has developed a solar-powered portable tower system that, coupled with an optional surveillance camera system, provides an incredible tool for image data collection.

The all aluminum tower extends to a height of 42ft (1,201cm) for the maximum viewing angle. The system is totally solar-powered and provides up to 1250Wh (nominal 100Ah per day at 12.5VDC) of continuous electrical power.
