Telegra, a leading provider of smart traffic management solutions, is advancing its growth in the North American market through the appointment of Carl Frampton as president and chief executive officer.

Frampton, an industry consultant with decades of experience in finance and operations, is responsible for the strategic growth of the company and identifying qualified sales and distribution partners to represent Telegra's advanced intelligent transportation systems (ITS) products on a regional basis in the United States.

"For the past two years, Telegra has been building a positive reputation for quality and technology as a new entrant in the US ITS marketplace," said Frampton. "The company has had significant success with customers that are interested in state of the art solutions for LED signs and control software that offer highly competitive value. Based on this positive acceptance of our products, we are realigning our business model and resources to better serve these customers."

Telegra in the ITS industry

Dedicated to the ITS industry, Telegra manufactures signs specifically for outdoor environments, no matter how extreme. Telegra utilises the latest generation of LEDs in its signage, to provide superior visibility and crisp, easily legible text, and to enable high light intensity at the lowest power consumption rates. Telegra also offers advanced software solutions for integrating various traffic management systems installed along highways and bridges or inside tunnels to allow effective, single-operator control of complex roadway systems.

Frampton will select partner firms to promote Telegra based on their ability to bring the highest customer support and service and who will interface both with Telegra operations and personnel in Europe as well as the United States.

"This business model has been extremely successful for Telegra on a global basis and has been a key factor in building Telegra as a leading global supplier to the traffic management industry," said Frampton. "We strongly believe this structure will bring the best value and support to our customers in the United States as well."

Frampton takes his position at Telegra after serving in executive roles at two technology-related companies. He also has extensive, multi-national experience in financial management, operations, acquisitions and divestitures, and in corporate re-capitalisations, private placements and merger transactions. In addition, Frampton is a CPA with 30 years of experience, including with a Big Eight accounting firm.
