VEHICLE-ACTIVATED SIGNS

Our manufacturing facilities utilise the latest CNC technology and solid state electronics. We can offer clients a range of light emitting symbols and legends for warning signs, roundels and speed camera signs from the Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2002 (TSRGD).

INTERACTIVE ROAD SIGNS: CONSULTANCY, INSTALLATION AND SERVICE

The installation of interactive signing needs careful thought and design. We can provide skilled, professional advice and guidance to ensure that clients are able to achieve effective schemes at best value. We can install and service your signs. We can repair and maintain other manufacturer's signs, subject to survey.

SOLAR AND WIND POWERED VEHICLE-ACTIVATED SIGNS

Where a location lacks mains power or where mains power costs are prohibitive, your vehicle-activated signs can be run by solar and/or wind power. These signs are powered by 12V batteries recharged by solar panels and/or wind generators. These have a low maintenance requirement and are vandal resistant. If you are considering this as an option then a site survey is essential. This is provided free of charge.

ROAD AND TRAFFIC SIGN SPECIFICATIONS

All our signs are low maintenance, slim-line LED technology designs with high visibility ratings. They contain light-sensitive dimming and can be activated by radar or loop. They are designed to be vandal resistant, fully contained units, with integral programmable radar. With aluminium signs, interchangeable first digits and legends are available on speed signs and on warning signs, respectively.

SPEED LIMIT SIGNS

We offer a full range of speed limit signs of varied sized roundels with optional LED amber corner clusters.

INTERACTIVE WARNING SIGNS

We provide interactive warning signs with a full range of triangles and sub-plates from Sch. 1 TSRGD 2002.

SPEED CAMERA SIGNS

We offer a new type of camera sign which incorporates a speed limit roundel. These are ultra-lightweight, have low windage and have proved to be effective in speed reduction (TEC March 2004). They may be mounted on a lamp column, thus saving the cost of post installation and power supply.

SCHOOL SAFETY ZONE SIGNS

The school safety zone signs come with a choice of sub-plate with LED amber corner clusters. They have a fully programmable timer and have a remote switching option.

PORTABLE READ-YOUR-SPEED SIGNS FOR TRAFFIC SPEED MANAGEMENT

These portable read-your-speed signs can be used anywhere. They are highly visible and lightweight. They contain variable speed parameters. They can either be battery operated and/or cigar lighter socket powered. This offers highly effective traffic speed management. These signs can be free-standing (e.g. for operating from the back of a car or van), tripod-mounted or fixed to a lamp column.

PLASTIC SLOW DOWN SIGNS

The plastic slow down signs carry the "Slow Down" legend and a 300mm roundel with the designated speed limit. May be mounted on a lamp column, thus saving the cost of post installation and power supply.

SPECIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS

We can design special signs to meet specific traffic control needs. We have, for example, created signs for accident black spots, telling drivers to "Low Gear Now" / "Keep in Low Gear" triggered by weigh-in-motion technology, and signs showing hill gradients.
