MIRAFI HP: HIGH-PERFORMANCE POLYPROPELENE GEOTEXTILE FOR SEPARATION, REINFORCEMENT AND FILTRATIONTenCate has combined the reinforcement function of a geogrid and the separation and filtration functions of a geotextile in one high-strength material. Mirafi HP high-performance polypropylene geotextiles are comprised of high-tenacity polypropylene yarns, which yield higher tensile strengths than any comparable stabilization product. Uniform openings provide filtration and flow characteristics similar to fine course sand along with excellent soil confinement resulting in greater load distribution and filtration. Mirafi HP high-performance geotextiles are flexible, versatile and make the difference in a variety of applications including embankments, retaining walls, steepened slopes and reinforcement over soft soils and pond enclosures. MIRAFI BXG: BIAXIAL GEOGRID FOR BASE COURSE REINFORCEMENT AND STABILIZATIONTenCate Mirafi BXG biaxial geogrids are high-tenacity, high-molecular polyester geogrids coated in a polymer coating for long-term performance and optimum interaction in all soil types. Utilizing Mirafi BXG biaxial geogrids for stabilization can reduce the required granular base fill and significantly reduce construction time. Mirafi BXG are biaxial geogrids that exhibit high tensile strengths in both longitudinal and transverse directions, making them suitable for base course reinforcement and soil stabilization applications like paved roads, haul roads, weak foundations, parking areas and secondary reinforcement for soil retaining structures. MIRAFI PAVEMENT RESTORATIONTenCate offers pavement restoration solutions for applications on existing roadways, airport runways, taxiways and other surfaces. Mirafi MPV non-woven asphalt overlay fabric with high asphalt absorption is specifically designed for asphalt overlay applications. Mirafi MPV forms an impermeable membrane that prevents the penetration of surface water through the pavement and also provides a stress-relieving layer that inhibits reflective crack growth. Mirafi MTK self-adhering waterproofing membrane is designed specifically as a moisture barrier to prevent water permeation or penetration through pavement surfaces and damage that excess moisture can cause in a roadway sub-base. ASPHALT OVERLAY REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMMirafi FG asphalt overlay reinforcement system is composed of high modulus fiberglass grids bonded to a lightweight scrim. It is specifically designed for use in the construction and repair of flexible (asphalt) and rigid (concrete) pavements such as roads, parking lots, airfields and other surfaces. Mirafi FG grid provides high strength with very low strains.
