Pfleiderer Europoles - Lighting Poles, Signal Poles, Traffic Control Masts and Sign Gantries

Pfleiderer Europoles is one of the leading manufacturers of special pole and mast models, as well as lighting poles for public lighting systems. With first-class expertise and long years of experience, Europoles’ portfolio includes high-quality products for road traffic.

Our range of products includes standard lighting poles, decorative lighting poles and traffic-control structures and sign gantries made of concrete. Poles made by Pfleiderer Europoles are designed and manufactured in accordance with the EN 40 standard – which means that these products carry the CE mark of conformity.

Poles made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic furthermore offer maximum passive safety: e.g. as soft poles and safety poles – and minimise danger to vehicle occupants in the event of collision.

STANDARD AND DECORATIVE LIGHTING POLES

Pfleiderer Europoles offers a large spectrum of standard lighting poles. We can supply conical and stepped poles, masts for pole-top equipment, poles with angle brackets, and poles with circular curved brackets.

All our lighting poles can be supplied in steel, concrete, fibreglass-reinforced plastic or aluminium. Pfleiderer Europoles can also create exceptional, customised poles in accordance with customers’ special wishes. This means that a variety of coloration, surface finishes, and shapes – or combinations of lighting and traffic-control poles – are easily feasible.

CONCRETE SIGN GANTRIES

Pfleiderer Europoles is the first manufacturer to produce sign gantries made of spun concrete. The centrifugal production process creates hollow cores in the vertical and horizontal concrete members, which results in considerable weight savings for the gantries.

Unlike sign gantries made of steel, the enormously compressed surface of these components offers no chance for corrosion to develop. The concrete surface is also particularly resistant to frost and de-icing salt. Internationally recognized CDF tests have confirmed these characteristics.

By using plastic bearings between the upright and horizontal components, vibration and oscillation behaviour of the structures is very slight. This leads to longer life cycles for the electronic devices mounted on the gantries. As a result, the overall expense for service and maintenance is minimal.
