Metric Group’s New After Sales Manager

A man who has been with the Metric Group for over a quarter of a century has been appointed the company’s aftersales and support manager. Ashley Bailey has experienced a wide range of roles since first joining Almex, part of the group, in 1981.

He has worked in the factory, on production, in the stores and then sales before becoming London Buses business manager. He initially focused on smaller bus companies which needed simple systems. As his knowledge increased, he came into contact with London Buses.

This opportunity started as a straightforward sale, but ended up being a full turnkey project offering 24 hour support. "...had the pleasure of being able to recruit a complete team of administration and support staff to ensure that the project ran on time and to budget," said Ashley.

"Experience gained in London proves that Metric can offer a bespoke service and manage it tightly to the benefit of both the customer and the company," he said.
