It's a ‘Win Win' for Hospital

04 September 2008

Metric Parking has devised a cost-saving solution to the needs of Chester-le-Street Community Hospital. They linked their entry and exit terminals to the hospital's existing barriers and traffic lights.

"It's a win-win situation," said Tom Porteous, Metric's sales executive who handled the order. "The hospital has been able to keep their installation costs down by using their existing barriers and traffic lights as well as utilising their electronic vehicle counter which is wired into Metric's new system."

Metric has commissioned a Paystation in the main hospital reception area as well as entry and exit terminals for their staff and visitor car park. The component parts of the system – the pay station and entry and exit barriers – are completely stand alone.

Robertson FM arranged the installation through their electrical and construction contractors.
