Speed display sign with solar panels

Decatur Electronics Europe is proud to announce its solar powered OnSite 50 Solar™ speed display sign, one of the most advanced speed displays available today. The OnSite 50 Solar with solar panels is undisputedly a high-quality traffic safety product. Due to the system's simplicity, it can be used in locations lacking mains power. One hour in sunshine is enough to keep the system running for 24 hours, so even cloudy conditions are not a problem.

The radar tracks vehicles moving toward the OnSite 50 radar with Decatur's SI-3 radar antenna. It displays the vehicles speeds on a non-glare two-digit display visible at up to 1,000ft.

This system can almost be put together without tools. It consists of three modules, which are the display unit, control unit and solar panel. Modules are connected together with cables and fast connectors. The solar panel is connected to the main control unit with one cable, and there are two cables attached to the display panel itself.

The radar and display unit are powered with professional-level batteries, used commonly in emergency applications. These batteries are recharged by solar panel. All the control electronics with radar, batteries and solar-panel controller are built in one enclosure.

Radar speed display sign

The portable, low-cost OnSite 200 radar speed display sign is designed for easy positioning in areas where speeding is a concern. This dolly-mounted 18in LED radar display is accurate from 5mph and easily read at a glance. Children are easily seen around the sign's tubular frame design, while the wide base is built to withstand adverse weather conditions.

With the OnSite 200, oncoming drivers will not lose site of pedestrians while keeping an eye on their speed.

The 18in high, full matrix LED characters automatically adjust their brightness depending on ambient light. In addition, the display is protected by a smoked, non-glare Lexan™ shielding for maximum security and optimal viewing conditions.

For various applications, the unit includes interchangeable speed limit signs in addition to a "your speed" or "school" sign. It offers a portable solution for school zones, cross walks, parking lots, public events, neighbourhood watch organizations and short-term construction sites.

Traffic data collection and analysis software

In addition to traffic and speed enforcement, the OnSite 200 may be combined with the optional EZ Stat traffic package. The EZ Stat traffic statistics software package allows for the collection and analysis of traffic data.
