New Speed Enforcement Technology from Redflex

The REDFLEXspeed fixed system provides a world leading technology in enforcement utilising inductive and non-inductive detectors. It provides the enforcement of speed offences at intersections, single lane roads and on highways (capturing up to six lanes of traffic).
The detection system utilising in-road inductive detectors is capable of speed determination and additional information such as vehicle length and class can also be acquired using this technology. Optionally, the system is also able to enforce red-light offences, and is suited to intersections.
HIGH RESOLUTION CAMERA SYSTEM
Redflex's high-resolution camera system enables the positive identification of an offending vehicle from a single close-up photograph. Configurations of 6 or 11 megapixel camera resolution gives up to four times the viewing area of standard photo enforcement cameras.
VANDAL RESISTANT/WIDE ENVIRONMENTAL TOLERANCE
Redflex's Photo Enforcement (fixed speed) systems use a closed-system enclosure that does not ingest outside air. This makes the system resistant to fire bombing, and chemical attack and enables its use in harsh environmental conditions (i.e. salt environments, pollution, smog etc.).
REDFLEXspeed is installed and operating in a wide range of climatic extremes from summer in the Middle East and the Arizona desert to the harsh winter conditions in Toledo, Ohio.
