The REDFLEXradar-fixed system provides a world leading technology in enforcement utilising non-inductive detectors. It provides for the enforcement of red light and speed offences at intersections. The detection system utilising radar detection is capable of speed determination and is able to discriminate between approaching and receding traffic.

The radar measures the speed of all passing targets and performs a precise measurement by way of Fast Fourier Transform processing which is then used to capture images of offending vehicles.

VANDAL RESISTANT/WIDE ENVIRONMENTAL TOLERANCE

Redflex's Photo Enforcement (fixed radar speed) system is a closed system enclosure that does not ingest outside air. This makes the system resistant to fire-bombing and chemical attack, and enables its use in harsh environmental conditions.

REDFLEXradar-fixed is installed and operating in a wide range of climatic extremes, from summer in the Australian outback to the harsh winter conditions in the northern USA.

FIVE-LANE OPERATION

REDFLEXradar-fixed is able to enforce across a full five lanes of traffic from a standard single camera enclosure and radar speed measurement detection device.
