RoadNet has been providing high-quality traffic management and road design services to governments, contractors and developers since 1995.

We have the capability and experience to undertake the planning and design of most road, traffic and road safety-related activities, and are able to provide detailed advice on traffic analysis, traffic management plans, construction staging and tender preparation. We also prepare traffic impact assessment for all types of developments.

Traffic control plans for road construction projects

RoadNet has extensive experience in the planning and design of traffic control plans (TCP) and temporary alignments for road construction projects.

We can import the accurate survey and design files into our design software (MX Road) and use AutoCAD to prepare the drawings. During this process we have close contact with the construction traffic manager to provide advice on the best ways in which to manage traffic, taking account of the limitations imposed by the contract specifications. This process often results in improved staging, a reduced level of risk and cost savings.

Associated services include the preparation of traffic management plans (TMP) and the conduct of road safety audits on design and implementation.

Personnel are formally qualified to select, modify, design and audit designs in both NSW and QLD. We have RTA Red Card, RTA Orange Card, TMR MUTCD Levels 2, 3 and 4, and RPEQ certification.

RoadNet has carried out road safety studies for intersections, districts, sections of road and for trends in crash patterns. These studies are usually carried out for councils and state road authorities, and include safety routes to achieve uniform travel conditions.

RoadNet is also highly experienced in the conduct of road safety audits and have several senior/lead auditors. We are regularly engaged to conduct audits on major road construction projects. Our auditors are also qualified to select/modify and design/audit traffic control plans in NSW and QLD. Our specialist expertise covers:
