Plastiroute produces and markets products for road marking (marking materials). These products range from paints and plastic masses to drop-on materials and diluents. The materials are designed for use as road marking sprays and thermoplastics, and for creating traffic signs, crash barriers and other traffic safety and delineation appliances. TRAFFIC MARKING PAINT MATERIALS FOR ROAD SAFETYAs a developer and manufacturer of materials for horizontal markings, we offer our customers tailor-made solutions for creating and maintaining safety on the road. Short development times ensure that we can respond quickly to changes in road traffic and offer systems for improving and increasing safety at short notice. Through active membership in professional associations and participation in working groups commissioned to draw up new test and measurement processes, guidelines and European standards, we co-operate in establishing the safety standards of the future. SOLVENT BORNE PAINTS (LOW VOC)Plastiroute produces low VOC (Volatile Organic Content) high-solid paints that range in film thickness from 0.3mm to 0.6mm. The marking material is free of heavy metals and is classified as non-toxic by the Federal Health Office, Berne, Switzerland. This paint range is designed for thin layer plain-line marking. Coloured road marking paints (traffic colours to DIN 6171 - "colours for traffic signs, colours and colour limits at daytime visibility") are available. WATERBORNE PAINTSPlastiroute has been developing water-dilutable marking systems for more than ten years. During this time, we have developed waterborne alternatives for all the durable marking systems available on the market. Today, PLASTIROUTE can say: "we can now offer single-component, water-dilutable VOC-free, non-polluting marking systems for all durable marking requirements". Plastiroute waterborne paints range in film thickness from 0.3mm to 0.6mm. The single-component material is free of solvents, cross-linking agents and heavy metals and is classified as non-toxic by the Federal Health Office, Berne, Switzerland. WATERBORNE PLASTIC MASSESRanging in film thickness from 0.6mm to 2.0mm, Plastiroute waterborne plastic masses, for both thick- and thin-layer plain-line markings, have been designed for road surfaces which are often or continuously passed over. COLD 2-COMPONENT PLASTIC MASSESFor extra-high traffic intensity we recommend our long durability cold plastic masses. The combination of simple handling properties and long durability makes it also very suitable for various kinds of city markings. These plastic masses range from 2.0mm to 3.0mm. Like the waterborne masses, the marking material is classified as non-toxic by the Federal Health Office, Switzerland. HIGH QUALITY ROAD MARKING PAINT SOLUTIONSThe quality and reliability of our road marking systems is monitored and assured to DIN 1824 by our laboratory, through regular measurements in situ and by testing on international test equipment. In the laboratory, the wear simulator reproduces the wear on a road marking caused by traffic. For more information, please contact us: For more information, please contact:
