RoadVista's Laserlux® CEN 30 mobile retroreflectometer is the most complete and sophisticated mobile highway retroreflectometer system on the market today. With over 50 installations worldwide, the Laserlux platform has been continuously updated since its inception, keeping it on the cutting edge of reliable retroreflection measurements.
The system provides real-time pavement marking reflectivity and can be used either day or night at variable traffic speeds. The system has a scan width of 1.1m, giving the user both night-time contrast and retroreflectivity measurements anywhere within the scan width. The Laserlux CEN 30 can measure double lines individually, as well as accurately measure skip lines, while separately collecting or ignoring raised pavement markers (RPMs).
Features include Windows-based software with GPS, mounting brackets and video recording camera with data overlay. Data can be easily reviewed in spreadsheet format and also imported into multiple GIS mapping programs to quickly determine problem areas.
RoadVista offers multiple models of handheld retroreflectometers for traffic signs and high-visibility safety clothing. The model 922 is the industry's only annular aperture instrument, eliminating guess-work and reducing errors when measuring micro-prismatic materials.
The 922 simultaneously measures two different observation angles and is designed to easily collect data in the field, recording retroreflectivity data, GPS location, date/time, and sign identification and information. Data can also be sent wirelessly in real-time to many leading GIS systems. Three different models cover the ASTM, ANSI, DIN and CEN specifications.
RoadVista has also just introduced the model 932, the world's first handheld retroreflectometer that measures night-time CIE colour-coordinates of traffic signs. This patent-pending design also features a continuously variable observation angle and continuously variable entrance angle, allowing the user to fully test retroreflective materials, including the complete EN471 / ANSI 107 retroreflectivity test for high-visibility clothing. The instrument can be controlled via its colour-TFT touch-screen display, or remotely via Bluetooth or USB.
The StripeMaster II portable retroreflectometer measures the retroreflectivity of pavement markings per ASTM E1710 and EN1436. It also provides accurate measurements on wet (per ASTM E2176 and ASTM E2177) or dry surfaces. Profiled markings up to 0.55in (14mm) in height can be measured without any modifications.

This system is completely computer controlled and is the basis for all portable and mobile instruments.
