Corus CEP designs and manufactures EN1317 compliant steel safety barrier systems for verge and central reservation applications on highways. Off-road safety barrier is also available for use in car parks, and for building and machinery protection.

Corus barrier systems offer a range of working width classes to meet normal and high containment requirements in road designs.

Suitable for new build, and maintenance and repair projects, Corus safety barrier systems have been specifically designed to fully integrate with existing Tensioned Corrugated Beam (TCB) and Open Box Beam (OBB) systems.

With over 40 years' experience in safety barrier production, Corus has the expertise and manufacturing skill to develop innovative highway safety barriers. Using advanced simulation technology, Corus can predict safety barrier behaviour during an impact, to enhance safety performance for motorists. CORUS VETEX™ SAFETY BARRIER SYSTEMS

Vetex combines safety performance with installation convenience. It is an untensioned, innovative, cost-effective suite of solutions for high-speed applications and EN1317 accredited.

All Vetex systems can be connected seamlessly to offer a complete solution, and are available for both double-sided and single-sided applications. Vetex beams are customised for the working width required; no measuring is needed for post spacing, post to beam joints are simple and with beams up to 5m long, Vetex is fast and easy to install.

VETEX BARRIER SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

Vetex is an untensioned barrier system that performs safely under high-speed impacts. Without tensioning, installation is faster and simpler. Maintenance is greatly reduced, because routine re-tensioning is not required, improving the performance reliability of the barrier, while at the same time being cost-effective.

Increased post spacing distance and longer beams also create installation efficiencies compared to traditional systems.

Designed with familiar components, Vetex can be integrated with existing UK barrier, even using existing post sockets. Familiarity means minimal additional training is needed to install Vetex systems. LANTRA approved training schemes are available for all Corus barrier systems.

All Vetex systems are lightweight, promoting safer handling and rapid assembly.

Vetex yields major installation and maintenance benefits, offering a cost effective barrier solution, without compromising safety performance.

ABC END TERMINAL

An energy absorbing P4 class end terminal for use with Corus systems. Suitable for high-speed roads where there is an increased risk of vehicle impact or limited space for a traditional end terminal.

QUADGUARD CEN CRASH CUSHION

Quadguard CEN is a crash cushion system designed to protect motorists from roadside hazards like concrete abutments. Approved to EN1317, the Quadguard crash cushion is suitable for high-speed roads.

BARRIERGUARD 800 TEMPORARY STEEL SAFETY BARRIER SYSTEM

BarrierGuard 800 is a N2W5 system, ideal for temporary use on motorways and trunk roads, offering protection to road workers and motorists during road building, and repairs and maintenance. Its versatile design also allows permanent application.
