Portable weigh-in-motion solutions for vehicles

Girwim provides a portable station for weighing vehicles and controlling overload infringements on the road.

Systems are based on extra-thin weighing platforms designed for easy transport, and quick assembly and disassembly. They are also certified by the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) to measure vehicles up to 30,000kg, moving at speeds of up to 5km/h.

Girwim offers two different platform and data collection systems.

System Plus is an extended pack that includes a laptop, a Bluetooth printer, and GesdynWeb software to manage weight data using an indicator. This system enables data customisation and list formatting, as well as an integrated statistics process and large database memory.

System A is a compact-case system based on an alphanumeric keyboard indicator with a built-in printer. The system can store up to 800 weights with an optional USB-encrypted data transfer output.

Vehicle data management software

The GesdynWeb software offers complete control of the vehicle weighing process. End-users can easily register and process traffic, as well as provide third parties with vehicle information, such as weighing controls, classification of vehicles, and sanction types.

It can also register weight data such as vehicle or axle-specific information. The system subsequently uses the vehicle classification showing its real weight, authorised axle weights, speed, and overload weight.

GesdynWeb performs overload simulations and sanctions to be applied when vehicles exceed their authorised weights.

Stations for weigh-in-motion traffic control

Overloaded vehicles have one of the biggest impacts on roadside pavements. Girwim solutions supply various control and sanction systems for high, medium and low-speed weigh-in-motion systems.

Girwim offers the DYNA B612 data logger, which collects key vehicle weight data using the best equipment and software available.

Toll collection and road safety systems

The Girwim toll system provides an automated 24h toll collection, which is operational 365 days a year.

A versatile solution for road traffic control and enforcement, the system uses advanced multiple sensors to detect vehicles entering the collection area.
