RFID-based automatic vehicle identification (AVI) allows secure, hands-free, card-free, cash-free access control, providing automated, controlled access for corporate parking facilities, gated communities, hospitals, universities, and airport parking and ground transportation.

TransCore's AVI system combines Amtech® brand wireless radio frequency identification (RFID) tags with readers to automatically identify vehicles as they enter and exit a facility. Hands-free operations are convenient, minimizing hassles, waiting time and driver distractions, while increasing security with 24hr access control closely monitoring vehicle entrance and exit areas.

eGO® TAGS AND READERS FOR VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION

TransCore's eGo® family of tags and readers provides a reliable, accurate, secure, and affordable gated access solution. The paper-thin eGo windshield sticker tag features single-chip technology, making its cost less than half that of a conventional RFID tag operating in the 915MHz range. While the single-protocol reader operates with the eGo tag, a dual-protocol reader reads both the eGo windshield sticker tag and conventional Amtech brand tags.
