Congressman Jim Oberstar Visits Global Traffic Technologies

St Paul, Minnesota, US — Congressman Jim Oberstar, chairman of the US House of Representatives' transportation and infrastructure committee, took time out of his busy schedule to visit Global Traffic Technologies' headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday 17 February 2010.

While at GTT, Congressman Oberstar received a tour of the facility and an overview of the newest generation of products under development. Following the tour, he met with employees to discuss federal transportation funding and other issues facing the industry.

Congressman Oberstar is widely recognized within the transportation community as the leading advocate for transportation infrastructure investment in the US Congress. In recent months he has gained national attention for his strident advocacy of passing the successor transportation legislation for SAFETEA-LU.
