Dynasys - Road Emergency Call Systems and Variable Message Signs

Dynasys - Engenharia e Telecomunicações SA - is a Portuguese engineering company. Dynasys' products include variable message signs and SOS road emergency call systems, which have been developed and manufactured since 1986 for Portuguese highways operators, allowing communications via copper, optical fibre or GSM. There are currently more then 1,000km of Portuguese roads that are visibly equipped with Dynasys systems.

Dynasys has been recognized for the development and application of the newest technologies in electronics, as well as for the creation of innovative products in a wide market of professional applications.

The supply of the roadside equipment demands a central management system. Dynasys also develops hardware and software for this purpose in accordance with the installation structure and the specific needs of the customer. From this management centre, the operator can attend to drivers' calls, monitor the roadside equipment where the action takes place and can log and produce reports of a wide range of events, within a variety of formats.

VARIABLE MESSAGE SIGNS FOR DRIVER INFORMATION

Using the most advanced LED technology, Dynasys develops and manufactures electronic variable information panels and signs, as well as the respective controlling systems, in accordance with customers' specific needs.

This range of equipment is not only designed to help road traffic, but is also applicable within a larger range of functions, such as information for drivers in logistics companies (integrated with the fleet management system and access control system) and outdoor and indoor advertising, etc.

INTEGRATED ROAD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS: VEHICLE CLASSIFICATION, SURVEILLANCE AND DETECTION SYSTEMS

Being involved in the road traffic industry, Dynasys could not avoid granting the integration of its products with other road systems. The company is prepared to integrate complete highway systems - from tunnel management, vehicle classification systems and video surveillance to automatic incident detection, meteorology stations, etc.

Using knot technology (either industrial PLC-based equipment or dedicated electronics), Dynasys integrates its road systems in accordance with the customer's specifications.

Dynasys' skills in these areas come not only from its intrinsic technical ability, but also, as it should, by the support of its technological partners, found amongst the most well-known European companies in their specific areas.
