eyevis - Large-Screen Display SystemsEyevis is a German manufacturer of large-screen display systems for control rooms, security centres, traffic surveillance and information. eyevis provides all necessary components for video wall systems, including rear-projection cubes and professional TFT LCD displays, graphics controllers, and wall-management software and accessories. The coherent design of our product series avoids problems with incompatible components and guarantees trouble-free operation in control rooms. REAR PROJECTION UNITSIn order to best match the requirements of our customers, we provide various display solutions. The EC Cube series contains DLP™ technology-based rear projection units. These units are stackable to build up video walls of almost any size. The seamless design of the cubes allows the creation of screen surfaces with almost invisible gaps between adjacent cubes. The cubes are available with screen diagonals ranging from 50in to 100in, and with various resolutions including XGA (1024px × 768px), SXGA (1280px × 1024px), SXGA+ (1400px × 1050px) and HD (1920px × 1080px). STAND-ALONE VIDEO MONITORSIn order to bring the advantages of our improving LCD technology to customers working with professional control-room displays, eyevis has introduced the EYE-LCD series. This series contains stand-alone video monitors for professional applications in the control room sector with screen diagonals from 42in to 82in. MINI BEZEL LC DISPLAYSIn the past, video walls based on LC technology suffered from a decisive problem – the gaps between displays were far too wide and disturbed working with the display wall. Therefore, eyevis has developed the EYE-LCD W/M series of displays, which are available with screen diagonals of 40in, 46in and 52in. The displays were especially constructed for tiled video wall applications. The 40in and 46in versions have a display resolution of 1366px x 768px and allow mullions of only 28mm (40in) or 30mm (46in) in the video wall. The 52in version also provides full HD resolution and narrow bezels. NETWORK-BASED GRAPHICS CONTROLLERSNetpix is a network-based graphics controller for the control of large screen or individual presentations. Thanks to its multi-screen facility, displays of any size can be achieved. This includes an integrated desktop for network applications, video and DVI / RGB sources (analogue or IP-based). Thanks to the flexible hardware architecture of the netpix technology, it can be easily upgraded with later hardware versions or optional extensions. eyevis customers benefit from netpix's ongoing development, which always utilises the most state-of-the-art and reliable hardware components available. IP VIDEO STREAMING DECODERWith the NPX IP streaming Decoder Board (DB) eyevis has developed a unique solution to connect encoded IP video streams directly with the netpix controllers. The IPDB offers hardware decoding of universal streaming video signals in real-time with a very low latency. Each IPDB can decode up to 32 CIF streams or up to eight D1 streams. Through a new hardware-decoding architecture, each channel can simultaneously decode different codec formats. This flexibility allows large visualisation systems supporting display grids of up to 64 outputs and a virtually unlimited number of inputs. EYECON™ WALL MANAGEMENT SOFTWAREEyecon is a complete software solution for the simple and perfect control and organisation of large screen displays and all connected signal sources. Furthermore the eyecon software considerably reduces the response time of your system on incoming signals and alarms. This software solution makes your surveillance system even more efficient and highly available. As an example, to ensure better monitoring of your system the incoming alarms of all management tools are displayed on the large screen wall, where they are visible to all operators in the control room. The latest version of eyecon has set new standards regarding work-flow efficiency and user-friendliness.
