Fibox, a privately owned company, operates in ten different countries with four manufacturing locations and several local partners in all continents. We offer a variety of manufacturing services, ranging from product design of precision plastic components, to tested systems shipped to locations all over the world. Fibox enclosures are manufactured in modern premises located in the Helsinki Metropolitan area in Finland and at Inchon in the Republic of Korea.

MODULAR PLASTIC EQUIPMENT ENCLOSURES

Fibox modular plastic enclosures were introduced in 1966, and were the first Polycarbonate (PC) enclosures on the market. They opened a new era in power distribution panel building. Since then, active product development and increased export have resulted in rapid growth for the company.

Whatever your application, the Fibox family of enclosures features the widest range of high-quality enclosures for the packaging and protection of electrical equipment and electronic components and systems. Enclosures can be delivered in standard off-the-shelf configurations or customised to your exact specifications.

Fibox voluntarily submits its products for third party testing and evaluation, and currently has many third party listings including, UL, CSA, FIMKO, DNV and LR. The company enclosures are rated EN 60529 even up to IP 68. In addition, nearly all products are rated for use in hazardous areas.

EK HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT ENCLOSURES

The EK range is the ideal for solution for the installation of applications with either single or modular enclosure solutions. EK enclosures are available with flange openings providing several options to use a wide selection of accessories, or connect enclosures to each other, forming a larger enclosure panel.

Dimensions of single EK enclosures range from 190mm x 190mm x 130mm to 760mm x 560mm x 250mm.

EQUIPMENT ENCLOSURE ACCESSORIES AND FITTINGS

As well as being incredibly robust, the Fibox EK range comes with an enormous range of accessories and fittings including covers, hinges, internal mountings, DIN rails, glands and cable entry systems. Because they are constructed from polycarbonate they are also entirely rustproof, and maintenance free. This makes the Fibox EK ideal for gantry mounted electrical equipment, where service access is restricted once the highway is open.

The accessories expand the scope of use for the enclosures by adding new features. The Fibox accessory range also covers a variety of inspection windows and ventilation and pressure equalizer devices.
