Road Management Solutions (RMS) is proud to offer an innovative portable concrete safety barrier system the DB80 Portable Concrete Crash Barrier. The National Austroads Panel has approved the 4m F-shape DB80 along with the 6m F-shape DB80 barrier.
The DB80 Concrete Crash Barrier is a high performance F-shape portable safety barrier system designed to protect and secure road side construction sites, protect against the breakthrough of vehicles to the worksite and delineate traffic flow.

High performance
As road safety specialists, RMS aims to set new standards in safety while ensuring total product performance. The new DB80 portable concrete barriers ensure safety at the highest level is provided through the use of tested and quality checked components, such as the unique tension bar and patented coupling system encased in each barrier.
The DB80 barrier uses the crash tested tension bar and coupling system to prevent errant vehicles breaking through the barrier chain. A tension bar made from high quality steel runs longitudinally through the centre of each barrier and is joined together by the coupling connection in between each DB80 barrier. The strength of the tension bard can be adjusted at manufacturing to reach different required containment levels.
Easy installation
In addition to its proven life saving performance, an additional benefit offered by the DB80 is the quick and easy rapid assembly/disassembly process. Unique contouring makes for quick and smooth assembly/disassembly possible – even in narrow areas. Also, given their symmetrical design, no dangerous reversal of barriers is necessary during installation to make connections fit together and additionally, eliminate barriers having to face a particular direction to accept a specific end treatment.
