TSEU believe in intelligent design, systems and traffic products that balance safety, road users, environmental and government needs, whilst encouraging public transport. The parent company was renamed TSEU Group in 2005 to reflect our increasingly European focus.

Our industry-leading Microsense Systems traffic products include LED traffic lights, detectors, pedestrian crossings, controllers, RTPI (Real-Time Passenger Information), UTC (Urban Traffic Control) software and communications. Our design team provides a full junction and signal design capability, training and project management. Our designs are supported by 20 years' street experience from our Traffic Signals UK business, operating from ten installation, maintenance and service branches.

STRATEGIC URBAN TRAFFIC COMPUTER SYSTEMS

Strategic Traffic Management (STM) optimises the flow of trams, buses and traffic through a city. Under STM control, the traffic light network runs a set of fixed time traffic control plans that are only varied when on-street circumstances have changed.

The traffic control plans can be altered by information triggering a change to plans, i.e. a bus or fire engine is late, traffic flows / queues exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or other parameters. For example, air quality monitoring data can be used to transmit a new set of time plans for the traffic signals that divert congestion away from the polluted area.

TRAFFIC CONTROL AND MONITORING

Our IP-based Traffic Control and Monitoring (TCAM) communications capability reduces overall revenue spend by local government on the communications network, required to monitor or control traffic lights, bus / tram information systems, car park information, variable message signs or air pollution monitors.

We offer a Remote Monitoring (RM) facility using TCAM which gives a dedicated facility to send/receive data to/from your remote locations and allows problems to be seen, analysed and addressed rapidly.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL DESIGN AND INSTALLATION

TSEU Group can provide you with access to the most cost effective complete design, supply and installation service available.

Our 120 skilled engineers can safely install both our own and other manufacturers' products. Projects range from pedestrian crossings through to major ring roads and motorways. All major contracts are supported through a dedicated project manager.

SENTINEL TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS

The new Sentinel range of controllers contains exciting features developed by our software team resulting in improved performance and ease of diagnostics and maintenance.

In specifications of up to 32 phases, eight streams, and 96 inputs and 64 outputs, our controllers are packed full of features and are compliant with UKHA TR2210A and HD638. Modes include integral dual-stream MOVA 4.2; LRT / tram priority; CLF cable-less linking facility; part time, hurry call, VA, FT and manual; and link mode under UTC or local control. The configuration tools allow a wide range of non-standard traffic control and monitoring functions.

24/7/365 HIGHWAY ELECTRICAL AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE

Proud of our strong reputation for the highest levels of service, we maintain our own and other manufacturers' traffic and roadside electrical equipment. We significantly improve service levels on all new contracts, including full 24/7/365 maintenance agreements.

DETECTORS, LED SIGNALS, PUSH BUTTON DEMAND UNITS AND STREET FURNITURE

TSEU offers a versatile range of above and below ground detection technologies for vehicle and pedestrian monitoring.

We have a comprehensive range of junction and pedestrian signal heads from state-of-the-art LEDs, for drastic savings on electricity costs, through to our economical range of SIRA (low phantom) type and halogen modular signal heads, push buttons, repeaters and other street furniture.
