Watchman systems provide high-speed wireless solutions and rapid deployment, which make them ideal as permanent or temporary solutions. 3G mobile technologies enable high-speed data transfer between systems and monitoring positions with instant access to recorded data and images.

TRAFFIC CALMING SYSTEM

The Watchman traffic calming system incorporates many unique features, working as a major deterrent to speeding motorists, helping calm traffic movement and also creating a long-term analysis of traffic at its location. The equipment is both technically state-of-the-art and operationally reliable.

In addition to number plate capture, a major benefit of the system is 24 hour high quality recording of the scene from the overview camera. This provides a history of events stored on hard disk for future reference.

The traffic calming system has a comprehensive storage capability for video and data. This information provides details of vehicles exceeding the speed limit, overview pictures and road profile data. This data is downloaded and collated providing meaningful information in easy-to-use formats.

ROAD VIEW: ROAD NETWORK AND ROADSIDE EQUIPMENT MONITORING

Road View is a product designed to provide monitoring of road networks and vulnerable roadside equipment. The product is available in two styles: the static unit, providing a fixed view of a scene and the dome unit, capable of being controlled remotely with full pan, tilt and zoom control, and a 360° field of vision.

Both systems share the same recording characteristics with 25 high quality images per second being recorded to the internal removable hard disk. Remote access to the unit is simple and requires only a standard PC or laptop running the Watchman software package.

The transmission of live video is achieved using the GSM phone networks providing a completely wireless connection enabling deployment of the unit in almost any location. Ideal for monitoring traffic hot spots, expensive high-risk roadside equipment, remote car parks and vulnerable walkways, Road View is totally flexible.

DUAL VIEW: HIGH-RESOLUTION CAMERAS FOR MONITORING ROAD NETWORKS

Dual View is designed to monitor road networks, one way systems, weight and vehicle restricted areas and vulnerable roadside equipment.

The product is available as the standard unit with two fixed high-resolution cameras, one colour and one monochrome with an LED array for nighttime illumination. These cameras providie a wide-angle colour view of a scene and a zoomed in monochrome view, suitable for capturing number plates. Each camera records 25 high quality images per second to the internal removable hard disk. Remote access to the unit is simple and requires only a standard PC or laptop running the Watchman software.

The transmission of live video is achieved using the GSM phone networks providing a completely wireless connection enabling deployment of the unit in almost any location. What makes the product unique is that a number of different devices can be added to the unit enabling it to be set up to monitor speed, vehicle direction, vehicle weight, or activity.
