Australia's Passenger Transport (Drug and Alcohol Testing) Regulation 2010
28 July 2010Published by Transport New South Wales (NSW), this white paper discusses the objective of the 2010 regulation to remake, with minor amendments, the provisions of the Passenger Transport (Drug and Alcohol Testing) Regulation 2004, which will be repealed on 1 September 2010 by section 10 (2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.
The report studies the various procedures for testing transport safety employees for alcohol and other drugs, and offences relating to their use, whilst providing information on the authorisation to exercise functions under the 2010 regulation.
