CITIC Group has raised $500m in gross proceeds through an offering of 4% international bonds to the public.

Due 11 January 2028, the bonds offer an initial yield of 4.07%.

UK-based Highways England has awarded two contracts under its Collaborative Delivery Framework to bmJV, a joint venture company of Morgan Sindall and BAM Nuttall.

The combined value of the two contracts is £322m ($434.42m). Under the first contract, bmJV will be responsible for designing and constructing ten miles of the M62 motorway.

The second contract will see the JV upgrade the M27 motorway between junctions four and 11 into dual four-lane roads.

Kraemer/IHC has signed a strategic agreement with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) for building an Express Lane on I-25 interstate highway. The cumulative value of the contract is $248m.

Post completion, the express lane between Johnstown and Fort Collins is expected to enhance connectivity in the region.

Australian construction firm AJ Lucas Group intends to raise gross proceeds of A$22m ($17.25m) through private placement of 70.5m shares of its common stock. The shares will be issued at a price of A$0.32 ($0.25) each.

The company will also issue 97.5m new shares, which will be available for the investors at the same price.

The proceeds will be used to supplement working capital, repay debts and for other future commitments.

South Korea-based construction and engineering services provider Dongbu Corporation has revealed plans to raise gross proceeds of KRW34.54m ($0.03m) through the private placement of shares.

To be priced at KRW5,000 ($4.7) a share, the placement includes 6,907 shares, which will be listed on 2 February.
