Collision avoidance solutions manufacturer EchoMaster has introduced new safety camera technology for Ford Transit Van to help reduce accidents.

The new FCTP-FT1602 system eliminates blind spots and protects the vehicle and passengers from potential liabilities.

Its side blind spot and lane change assist system is equipped with mirror caps that feature integrated cameras.

The camera view can be switched on using the turn signals, thereby eliminating side blind spots while changing driving lanes or sharp turns.

The FCTP-FT1602 system is customisable and can be completely integrated with the vehicle’s current electronic system without adding too much bulk to the vehicle’s exterior.

In addition to the side cameras of the system, FCTP-FT1602 features a speed sensing front camera that gets activated when the vehicle is going under a certain speed, as well as a reverse camera when the van is placed in reverse.

The system kit also includes an in-house built factory-matched side mirror caps with built-in blind spot elimination cameras, which are integrated with the OE radio and activated by turn signal.

With a plug-and-play vehicle-specific integration module, it integrates cameras seamlessly into the van’s OEM radio screen.

Camera harnesses, adapters and other equipment necessary for plug-and-play installation are provided in the kit.

Aside from FCTP-FT1602 Kits with Non-Tow mirror caps, EchoMaster also offers another kit, FCTP-FT1601, for transit vans equipped with Tow Mirrors.
