Lear, an automotive seating and electrical systems provider based in the US, has agreed to acquire EXO Technologies, an Israel-based company involved in the development of GPS technology, for an undisclosed sum.

EXO Technologies will assist in Lear vehicle connectivity application and solve the problem of high-accuracy positioning, upon completion of the acquisition.

The technology will provide accurate positioning in a vehicle anywhere on earth using existing GPS receivers. Furthermore, it doesn’t need terrestrial base-station networks.

Feeney Brothers Excavation (Feeney Brothers Utility Services) has agreed to merge with The DDS Companies.

The two companies will continue to operate under their respective brands, upon completion of the merger.

The transaction will help the two companies to expand and improve their service offerings.

Feeney Brothers Excavation is a US-based utility contractor for gas, electric, water and telecommunications industries, while DDS Companies, also based in the US, is a provider of utility, civil, engineering and telecommunications services.

Olsson Associates plans to acquire McGoodwin, Williams and Yates by 15 January 2018, with the aim of expanding its technical expertise and customer base.

The acquirer company is a US-based engineering and design solutions provider for private infrastructure projects, whereas the target company, also based in the US, is an engineering services provider for municipal infrastructure.

Kozaraputevi, a Bosnia-Herzegovina company, has reached an agreement to fully acquire in Bijeljina Put for a consideration of BAM10m ($5.9m).

The acquirer company provides construction, maintenance, and protection of roads and highways, while the target company is a provider of construction, reconstruction and asphalt paving services for public road infrastructure.

Suez Environnement North America, a waste water treatment services provider based in the US, has acquired Odle, a full-service painting and coatings contractor

Also based in the US, the target company is specialised in large commercial, municipal and industrial projects.

The acquisition is expected to enable Suez to bolster its offerings in concrete rehabilitation and maintenance services.

GETS Global Bhd has agreed to acquire 79.99% stake in Pengangkutan Awam Putrajaya Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd from Putrajaya Leisures & Services Group Sdn Bhd for a consideration of RM1m ($0.24m).

All companies involved in the transaction, which is expected to be closed by March 2018, are based in Malaysia.

The acquirer company is a bus service provider, while the target company is a road transportation services provider.
