Tobishima Corporation has completed the acquisition of a 79.9% stake in Nodak.

The transaction involved the acquisition of 12,700 shares in Nodak.

Tobishima offers civil engineering and building construction services for dams, roads, railways, harbours, airports and energy projects.

Both companies involved in the acquisition are based in Japan.

Tobishima has also become a majority shareholder in Japan Lake and Canal through the acquisition of a 75.2% stake, representing 25,038 shares.

UK-based construction materials supply firm Breedon Group intends to acquire majority interest in Lagan Construction Group Holdings.

Also based in the UK, Lagan Construction offers civil engineering and construction-related services to customers.

The company has reported an annual turnover of £350m ($490.98m).

ASRC Industrial Services (AIS), a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional, has acquired Mavo Systems for an undisclosed sum.

Both ASRC and Mavo Systems are US-based firms specialised in providing environmental and construction services.

Mavo employees will join AIS following the transaction.

The acquisition will enable ASRC to offer value-added services to its customers.
