Baulderstone secures Queensland road project

Lend Lease subsidiary Baulderstone has won a A$115m (US$122m) contract from Queensland Department of Transport in Australia to design and build the Mains Road Kessels Roads intersection upgrade in Brisbane.

The company said the project will address bottlenecks in the Brisbane urban corridor.

The project is expected to be finished in mid-2014.

Separately, Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has awarded a contract to KBR to design and construct verification services for the upgrade of one of Queensland's busiest intersections at Mains and Kessels roads in Brisbane, Australia.
