The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) in the US will carry out a $32m highway renovation project on US State Highway C-470 between I-25 and Santa Fe Drive in Colorado.

The renovation project includes repairing 9 miles of highway C-470 and also paving of the entire length in asphalt. The project also includes concrete repairs along 26 miles of the C-470 bike path between I-25 and I-70.

The project will be stopped for the winter and resume its work in the spring of 2010.

CDOT has awarded the contract to Colorado-based Castle Rock Construction.

The renovation work is a part of an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project and is scheduled to be completed in July 2010.
