US-based INRIX has developed a navigation application it claims will make commuting easier by informing users about arrival times, the best routes to take and the best times to leave.
The application is called INRIX Traffic! Pro and is designed for iPhone and iPod Touch owners.
Traffic! Pro's applications include Best Time to Leave and ETA, Drive and Record Favorite Routes or Save Frequent Destinations, Predictive Traffic and Traffic Incidents and Cameras.
The system combines real-time "crowd-sourced" traffic information from more than 1.5 million vehicles and mobile devices and covers more than 260,000 miles of roadways across the US and Canada.
