The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has contracted Fulton Hogan for the construction of a new two-lane bridge across the Taramakau River on State Highway 6 between Greymouth and Kumara Junction in the South Island, New Zealand.

Construction of the NZ$25.8m ($18.9m) bridge will begin in December 2016, with the completion scheduled by the end of 2018.

To enhance the mobility along the region, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has appointed TransCore to deploy more than 100mi (160.9km) of express lanes throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, which is considered as the busiest corridors in the region.

"The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018."

A grant of $50m has been approved by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the Armenia-Georgia Border Regional Road (M6 Vanadzor – Bagratashen) improvement project, which involves rehabilitating and upgrading 51.5km stretch of the 90km highway. The remaining 38.5km stretch will be funded by European Investment Bank (EIB).

The project is aimed at improving the safety and efficiency of the highway and is also expected to improve access to social services, agriculture, tourism and jobs in the region.
