Transport Quebec has completed the $86m Jean-Leman segment of Highway 30 in Canada.

The new section has a length of 3.4km with four lanes, five overpasses and one rail overpass.

The new stretch provides a link between the Highway 30 stretch in Chateauguay to Highway 15, as well as the stretch of Highway 30 starting in Candiac to ease traffic around Montreal.

The final stretch from Chateauguay to Vaudreuil-Dorion will cost $1.5bn will be complete by December 2012.
