Image Sensing Systems, an above-ground detection provider of license plate recognition (LPR) systems, has introduced a new Autoscope Ex-140 intelligent LPR camera.

The Autoscope Ex-140 features fully integrated camera that incorporates the camera, image processing and communications within a single modular unit.

Useful for security, law enforcement and parking applications, the camera has full HD LPR and day/night colour overview sensors, and is equipped with night-vision overview technology for reliable 24/7 operation.

The Ex-140 is easy-to-install with remote setup and configuration monitoring, and comprises motorised zoom lenses in both the LPR and colour overview cameras.

It also offers a pan tilt zoom (PTZ) control for CCTV operation, delivering an improved solution for protecting cities and properties more efficiently and effectively.

"We are ecstatic to provide this powerful solution to our many valued partners, integrators and end-users," Hofkens said.

Autoscope Ex-140 will be available for purchase worldwide in third quarter 2014.
