ADFORS GlasGrid was used for the reinforcement of poured asphalt applied between tram tracks in Moskevska Street, Prague, Czech Republic.
Application: 40 mm poured asphalt (with aggregate 11mm), GlasGrid GG50 (GG50NA), 40mm poured asphalt (with aggregate 16mm), Underlay paper.
Contractor: Eurovia.
Installation date: September to November 2013.
Project details: First project done in Czech Republic as the trial. Used GlasGrid GG50 between two poured asphalt layers.
Follow up: As of July 2020, there were no visible cracks and no potholes after seven years in use.
Conclusion: ADFORS GlasGrid provides long-time anti-crack protection in special repairs with use of mastic ashpalt layer on the top.
