Live Roads, a mobile navigation platform founded in 2016, has launched on the Google Play Store.

The navigation app space enables users to have access to high-definition (HD) Maps, Lane-Level Navigation to give an immersive and accurate driving experience.

With real 3D Cars, HD Maps and Lane-Level Navigation, the app enables users to experience detail and control.

Among the other features provided include Picture-In-Picture (PIP) Maps, which allow drivers to see both HD and SD Maps at the same time to acquire a high level of detail and accuracy while driving; customisable 3D Cars that can be selected from the available list of models and colours; Off Line Maps in the US and Canada.

Users can also share live location with friends and have access to live traffic information.

Live Roads is available as free and premium app.

The free version comes with standard definition maps and traffic updates and offers only the HD Maps and Lane-Level Navigation when a user is approaching a turn.

The Premium HD service, costing 99 cents monthly, features all of the app’s features 3D Car, HD Maps, PIP Maps, Lane-Level Navigation, Off Line Maps.

The platform also provides a points system that enables users to experience the Premium HD service free of charge.

When free and premium users earn 10,000 Drive Points, they can receive a month of Premium HD service for free. To earn points, users can drive with the Live Roads app open and they can earn 20 points per mile driven; report road incidents wherein users can earn 50 points for every incident reported; and share the Live Roads app with friends and family.

Live Roads will be available on iOS later this year and include additional features such as Lane-Level Traffic.
