The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) in the US has unveiled plans to invest $552.4m on Clark County road projects by next year.

The US state has identified 87 projects and earmarked $177m to widen Interstate 15 from Spring Mountain Road to an area known as the Spaghetti Bowl.

Nevada has also approved a $52.3m project for I-15 at Cactus Avenue in Las Vegas for the construction of a six-lane roadway with an interchange at I-15.

In addition, $24m has been allocated for the Highway 93 Boulder Bypass from one mile south of the junction of Highway 95 and 93 to Foothills Road.

The scope of work involves the construction of a frontage road with retaining walls and relocating utilities, and building drainage facilities, according to lasvegassun.com.
