Siqura has unveiled an advanced PTZ dome camera for highway tunnel and seaport surveillance that is capable of withstanding harsh environments.

The camera is suitable for installation in places where corrosive elements in the atmosphere can impede the performance of a surveillance system and cause unnecessary risks to safety and security, the company said.

The new camera line uses a pressurised dome housing to ensure airtight protection against excessive moisture, dirt, and pollution.

The Siqura pressurised PTZ dome cameras are equipped with an IP67 ingress protection rating and the housing designed to withstand high solar heat.

The camera housing is pressurised with inert nitrogen gas which prevents moisture, pollution, and dust from damaging the camera.

The camera is available in analog and IP options having 400° per second preset positioning capability, equipped with 26x or 35x autofocus zoom lens, and 12x digital zoom.

The pressurised Siqura PTZ cameras also comes with a day/night (IR-cut) filter and backlight compensation which can be set manually or automatically when lighting conditions require it.
