The Wyoming Transportation Commission has awarded $35.5m worth of contracts for seven highway projects in Wyoming, US.

McGarvin-Moberly Construction has secured the largest of the contracts with a low bid of $12.2m. Set to be completed on 30 September 2015, the contract involves the replacement of deteriorating pavement on the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 by Wamsutter.

The company also won a $7.3m contract to renovate ten bridges on the highway section, as well as remove and replace seven miles of weakened pavement on Interstate 25 at Chugwater.

Wyoming Transportation Commission awarded an $11m contract to Lander’s High Country Construction to widen and resurface approximately seven miles of WYO 59 between Weston and the Montana border.

Intermountain Slurry Seal of Watsonville, California, was awarded a $1.7m contract to upgrade nine city street sections in Evanston.

Wilson Brothers Construction of Cowley won a $1.1m contract to stabilise the Tift Slide on US 14 south of Sheridan. The contract is set to be completed by 30 November.

General contractor DRM has been awarded a $1m contract to stabilise the Salt Creek Slide on US 85 north of Newcastle. The work is scheduled to be finished by 30 November.

S&S Builders of Gillette will replace Hay Creek Bridge on Crook County Road 265 under a $660,000 contract, which is expected to be completed by 31 October 2015.

General contractor Reiman has secured a $455,000 contract to repair the overpass at the I-25 Nimmo Road Interchange, which was damaged in February when it was struck by an oversize load. The project is set to be completed by 31 August 2015.
