Zebra Technologies has introduced SmartPack Trailer, which provides real-time operational visibility for transportation and logistics industry. 

The company claims that its technology has the potential to reduce operational costs, as well as improve efficiency in loading trailers along with load quality, staff training and safety.

SmartPack Trailer offers a portfolio of solutions that would create a smarter and connected distribution network to help public and private carriers of freight and parcels across ground and air transport modalities in order to make real-time informed decisions that improves loading operations.

SmartPack Trailer gathers a wide range of information, including load density, trailer capacity and images, as well as number of packages scanned and loaded an hour in order to provide complete information to the organisations to achieve peak levels of performance and profitability.

SmartPack Trailer has been designed to work on the Zebra’s Enterprise Asset Intelligence (EAI) strategy, which senses the operational data at the point of activity and then analyses it to derive actionable insights for personnel and dock managers.
