Upstream Security has formed a partnership with Asgent to deliver the latest automotive cybersecurity platforms to automobile manufacturers in Japan.

The collaboration will see the combination of Upstream Security’s cloud-based cybersecurity platform with Asgent’s broad systems integration expertise.

In recent years, connectivity has become one of the key aspects of the automotive industry. It is expected to enable the service providers and vehicle fleets to improve their business results, seek new opportunities, as well as improve consumer experience.

To address the issue, as well as ensure safety of the passengers and drivers, Upstream Security has developed the Centralized Connected Car Cybersecurity (C4) solution.

It offers automotive CISOs control and visibility over their fleet to ensure secure and safe operations.

The company claimed that this Cloud-based cybersecurity platform for the automotive market is capable of protecting connected vehicles already on the road.

Upstream is currently focusing on strengthening its presence in Asia and entering the Japanese automotive market is part of its expansion programme.

Japan is one of the largest automotive markets in the world with more than five million vehicles sold every year.
