A Primoris Services subsidiary, James Construction Group, has secured three highway construction contracts worth $101m from the department of transportation in the US.

The first $26m project entails reconstruction work on Interstate 12 in Slidell, Louisiana, which includes widening four existing bridges and installing around 76,000t of new asphalt pavement.

The other two projects worth a total of $75m include nine miles of new interstate construction on the I- 49, north of Shreveport, Louisiana.

The project also entails the placement of about 412,000 cubic yards of excavation, the installation of about 1,865,000 cubic yards of embankment and construction of 23 new bridges.
